The words of Kahlil Gibran have traditionally been spoken during Baptisms at Hope UCC. They convey sentiments long valued and honored among the parishioners. As children grow into their spiritual life at Hope, they will find themselves through the support of their church family.
Baptism at Hope United Church of Christ is for all: infants, toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers, and adults. It is frequently incorporated as part of Sunday worship with arrangements being made well in advance with Pastor Carol Reynolds. Parents, sponsors, and the congregation all play a role in this special sacrament.
